As Lazlo Strange became consumed by thoughts of the fabled Weep, I became utterly entranced by the world in Strange the Dreamer. I could not get the tale out of my head, so I tried to capture just a little of its brilliance with these wallpapers. Don’t you love books that captures the power of stories and the potency of a oft-told legend? I yearn to go to The Great Library of Zosma, where the myth and knowledge of Zeru are just a shelf away.
Sathaz: the desire to possess that which can never be yours.
Each section of Strange begins with a newly invented word, steeped in meaning from fables and belief of this ambitiously imagined world. My favourite was sathaz, referring to a man who loved the moon. It also takes a whole new meaning by the end of Strange, but that’s something you best discover on your own 😉
